A 35mm wildlife film made for International cinematic release. As field producer on this project I lived in the African bush for 18 months. Working in Tanzania with Hugo van Lawick (winner of 8 Emmy’s & 2 Oscar’s), and renowned Cinematographer Anton van Munster was a great learning experience. My days ranged between running Bush logistics, at times finding the Leopard, writing film editorials, and coordinating between the American, British and Dutch producers.

THE STRONGEST LINK

2005“A Dollar A Day”. Film Director
‘The Strongest Link’ belongs to a six part TV series. To research this film I spent many months in a South African Shantytown with a young woman infected with HIV. The dignified manner in which Bulelwla Princess Cima dealt with her pregnancy and extreme poverty has reached many people through International television. Recently selected by the centre for Global Development, the film was used to put forward global poverty issues to U.S. politicians in the 2008 presidential election race. Adopted by the UN Millennium Development Goals initiative, the series offers a hopeful yet realistic insight into global issues, by portraying local initiatives and international efforts to alleviate poverty.
